Kathleen’s experience as a criminal defence lawyer includes trial litigation involving sexual assault, domestic violence, drug trafficking, impaired driving, and other driving-related offences. She practices exclusively in the area of criminal defence and has represented individuals in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba at all levels of court.

Kathleen is committed to ensuring every client receives strong and effective legal representation. Education and Background

Kathleen earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba, where she focused her studies on criminal law. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba.

During law school, Kathleen served as the Pro Bono Students Canada Coordinator, working with local non-profit and community organizations to help provide legal support to individuals and communities facing barriers to justice. She also assisted clients through the University of Manitoba Community Law Centre, where she provided legal assistance to individuals facing criminal charges.

Kathleen completed her articles with Rees Dyck Rogala Law Offices, a firm focused on criminal defence, and continued her practice there as an associate lawyer.

Her experience has shaped a client-centred and justice-focused approach to criminal defence, grounded in a strong commitment to advocacy and access to justice.
